Hope you’ve been enjoying my extra posts recently, now that summers here and uni is over for the academic year. I’ve taken up vlogging – be sure to check me out on youtube and even subscribe!
This post, as you’ve guessed, is all about those pre-summer thoughtsthat create a slight level of panic in you. I’m currently 6/10 in the panic zone but it’s increasing daily as I’m my holiday is in 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS. So what best to do than blog about it rather than work out, right?
So I guess you could say that I’m either getting the hang of it, addicted to vlogging or BOTH! I hope you’re all enjoying them so far, I love doing it so it’s a win win really. I’ve used that phrase too many times recently. Getting sick of it.

Before I start this weeks blog post, I just want to direct you to my amazing new header! It’s had a major re-vamp and it’s all down to Yaansoon over at Yaansoon Illustrations. I am obsessed with it! It was done by freehand with water colour and ink, check a video here on how it was done or simply check out their blog for more designs that could suit your blog too! This week, I’ve been thinking about bloggers who have made it big and how at some point we wish we were them (and then snap back to reality). I think we can all relate in being a little envious of these people at times right? So I thought I’d put together some things that we all do and then wish for the best possible outcome…
I started off this blog post by saying I’m not a naturally self-conscious person………… What a load of crap. I am. That’s exactly what a self-conscious person would say. I’m self-conscious over the fact that I am self-concious so I cover it up. Sorry.
I thought I’d share with you some of the things (fitness related – otherwise we’d be here all week) that I feel self-concious about. Some of these will be for us girls, seeing as I am one, think it would be worrying if it was relating to any other gender, so bare with me guys. Maybe you have equivalent things you’re dealing with? Let me know in the comments, we’re all friends here.

I recently did a post that gave advice for women and weights, and it seemed to get a lot of comments based on the weight room itself and me calling it ‘the male area‘. So I’m curious if people feel the same (or different) to some more of my thoughts…let me know in the comments peeps!

So what better way to celebrate the half way mark to 1,000 than a moaning blog post. Right up my street. And it’s yours too, don’t lie. First things first, I HATE RUNNING.Now that summers on it’s way, the runners amongst us are emerging and I am truly jealous of every single one of you. Here’s a few reasons why..
Just a quick personal update for you all: I have officially finished my last studying term at University! All that’s left now is dissertation work and one essay and then I’m done. So, I guess there’s no more excuses for lacking on the blog postings…
As a student, I don’t have the luxury of spending my loan on whatever I want, I have to prioritise and split my money where I feel best. 9 times out of 10…it will be fitness related – is anyone the same!? Have a read and let me know I’m not alone or if I’ve missed any out!
After the success of my last post, Best Feelings for a Fitness Fanatic, I thought it only made sense to do the opposite for you! And plus, it’s a chance for me to rant again – and I don’t think you’d be classed as biologically female if you turned down that oppourtunity.

Something a little different today…this post is in response to a few questions i’ve received over how to start the lifting process and not feel like a complete numpty, so here’s my advice, to you, from me!
