I thought this post is a very relevant one to me right now. As mentioned in My Reasons For A Bad Workout post, I’m home for the weekend. And being home for the weekend means FOOD. AND A LOT OF IT. Also, it’s a shed load of birthday celebrations in the family. So, I guess you could say I’m indulging right now. Like a pig in mud. And it’s great!!
But I thought maybe I could offer some tips and tricks (some of which I will be taking and doing myself when I return back to uni tomorrow) for any of you who’ve had a binge weekend or got one coming up or even just to keep in mind for the near future…
Hope everyone is well and your fitness journeys are going swimmingly! I’m just about to reach 250 followers…eek! Motivation levels at it’s peak! I’m thinking about setting up an instagram and twitter for this blog too – what do you think?
After a week of finally deciding what I want to do with my life after university (Digital and social media marketing), I’ve been having a bit of a lazy weekend. And the fact that its valentines day. Ok so you caught me slipping..I can’t be alone though right?
Here’s some lazy gym girl fitness hacks that help me push through a workout when I really really don’t wanna. Hope it helps…
As a 20yr old active student who’s into beauty, and I mean fully caught up in it all (watching makeup tutorials and hacks on youtube for hours, spending ludicrous amounts on eyebrow wax), I come across hygiene/appearance issues daily. I can’t be alone here surely?! Hence why I’ve decided to list a few down to you in order for you to reassure me on this one girls…hehe.
Thanks again for the 200 followers! It’s been a while I know, but I have good reason. My university work and lifestyle has completely swallowed me up this term – in a good way. My works flowing and my workouts are killing me! Also, my new years resolutions seem to be going good too. So I’d thought I’d share with you ways that help me stick to a workout routine and most importantly, my resolution!
After doing a recent post on just a handful of plank variations, I received great feedback on how helpful it was and how people were unaware that there were even 4 variations!
Planks don’t have to be as hard as they’re made out to be, sure the advanced ones are impressive, but an incredible amount of work still goes into even the easiest move out of the lot. I seem to get the impression the the P-word creates the same dreadas the mention of the TRX. I want to break that stereotypical view of the plank, and make it more appealing and accessible to everyone!!
So brace yourselves for this post as I explore different variations, from thegreatist.com site (ask for full web address), all at different workout levels which lets me accommodate to what you’re looking for in a workout!
It’s the christmas break over here in the UK which means I’ve escaped the cold, damp walls of student accommodation and returned back to a warm, toasty home. However, it’s got me thinking about the every day struggles that I, a student gym bunny, have to go through and am left wondering if there’s anyone else that can relate??…Here goes..
I live in the UK and it seems to have gotten down to BALTIC temperatures overnight. So I thought I’d share with you the unexpected, yet mandatory issues I have to go through as a frequent gym-goer…I hope I’m not alone here…
