Hope you’ve been enjoying my extra posts recently, now that summers here and uni is over for the academic year. I’ve taken up vlogging – be sure to check me out on youtube and even subscribe!
This post, as you’ve guessed, is all about those pre-summer thoughtsthat create a slight level of panic in you. I’m currently 6/10 in the panic zone but it’s increasing daily as I’m my holiday is in 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS. So what best to do than blog about it rather than work out, right?
Thank you for all the birthday wishes and letting me know I now have responsibilities as a 21 year old. And with all the busy birthday parties, I totally missed the 700 followers milestone and yesterday I just hit 800 (?!). Thank you so much all of you lovely lot, old and new followers. The support means a lot and I continue to grow as a blogger with all of your comments on my posts. Just knowing you enjoyed them is more than enough!
The more honest the post the more respect I get from you lot as followers (I think?)…or you’re all just pulling my leg making me post more and more embarrassing thoughts that I have DAILY.
This post is all about my envious thoughts on the people that, no matter what, will always have their overnight oats ready and waiting, or a green smoothie made within 5 seconds with no mess in a mason jar. Basically, healthy floggers (food bloggers) that really have their sh*t together. Here are my jealous thoughts when I see your posts…
On with the blog post, something a little different today but hopefully just as entertaining and relatable as all of my others. I’d like to see how similar my thought processes are in one of my first exercise classes in comparison to you lovely lot! These are all in jest and meant to be humorous…now I’ve said that they kinda have to be don’t they. Maybe you’ll read something familiar…let me know if you do!
Thanks again for the 200 followers! It’s been a while I know, but I have good reason. My university work and lifestyle has completely swallowed me up this term – in a good way. My works flowing and my workouts are killing me! Also, my new years resolutions seem to be going good too. So I’d thought I’d share with you ways that help me stick to a workout routine and most importantly, my resolution!
After doing a recent post on just a handful of plank variations, I received great feedback on how helpful it was and how people were unaware that there were even 4 variations!
Planks don’t have to be as hard as they’re made out to be, sure the advanced ones are impressive, but an incredible amount of work still goes into even the easiest move out of the lot. I seem to get the impression the the P-word creates the same dreadas the mention of the TRX. I want to break that stereotypical view of the plank, and make it more appealing and accessible to everyone!!
So brace yourselves for this post as I explore different variations, from thegreatist.com site (ask for full web address), all at different workout levels which lets me accommodate to what you’re looking for in a workout!
I live in the UK and it seems to have gotten down to BALTIC temperatures overnight. So I thought I’d share with you the unexpected, yet mandatory issues I have to go through as a frequent gym-goer…I hope I’m not alone here…
Ever since I started my fitness journey (coming up to a year now), I’ve always attended weekly fitness classes at my university. Since then, I’ve accumulated a number of growing frustrations that occur within the class hall.
I thought I’d share with you as a way of, primarily, venting, and secondarily, to see if anyone else puts up with the following people constantly…
